I write this for you
To tell you that I'm through
I write this to say
I can't live this way
I write to say I've reached the end
A letter I'll never send
I draw the curtains closed
Shutting down my window
Let no light expose
I drape the rope around
My neck I make no sound
Silent and resolute
I tie one end of the rope
To the last shred of hope
And I cast the other end
Toward the stars above
I seek solace in the shroud of sky
Climbing to the constellations
To throw myself from the highest star
The last vestige of hope
Hangs at the end of this rope
And there's no going back on this now
A silent vision outside my window
She beckons me
I climb to her open arms she dwells above the stars
The last vestige of hope
Choked at the end of this rope
And I'm leaving this all behind
Is she my mother?
My daughter?
The love I leave behind?
Is she my guardian angel?
She disrobes, shedding stars
Owls, bats and moths flow past me
And disappear in the ink of night
Fluttering garments like feathered wings
A single moth remains
Drawn to the glowing angel
Standing on a chair
Nothing makes sense
No more second chances
I reach out to her light
She wraps her cold arms around my neck
And pulls me to the abyss below

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

These guy's love the Devin townsend's Epic sound Which sounds as if its from another reality, And they make their own Hyper yet drifting Similar to seeing a comet whizzing by the atmosphere. A joy to witness but over, As soon as the majesty of it all sinks in! John Chaos Alexander
